What is Marlo?+−
Marlo is a fintech that partners with premium venues and experience-makers to turn what they already serve into content that grows their reach. You set a budget, approve creators from a vetted network, and they dine and pay using their Marlo Card, just like any other guest.
How is this different from an agency or an influencer marketplace?+−
Speed, cost, and software. Speed: content typically lands within 24 hours, not weeks of briefs and back-and-forth. Cost: you spend your own inventory, not cash, so the marketing comes out of product you already produce. Software: your dashboard tracks every campaign, with ROI analytics and a content library. You're not buying a one-off campaign, you're turning on a content system.
How does payment work at my venue?+−
The creator taps their Marlo Card on your existing EFTPOS, settling as a normal card payment on your end. Behind the tap, Marlo authorises and funds the transaction in real time. No vouchers, no codes, no new systems.
What do I actually pay for?+−
To become a Marlo partner, you subscribe for monthly access. You pay a campaign fee, charged only on a successful transaction at your venue. The only other cost to you is the COGS. Full pricing is on our
plans page.
When does the campaign fee get charged?+−
Only on a successful transaction at your venue, at the moment of approval.
When can creators come?+−
You decide. When you set up a campaign, you choose the days and time windows creators can attend. Creators apply for a slot inside those windows, and you approve both the creator and the time, so nothing lands outside what suits your floor.
Do I have to commit long-term?+−
No. Month-to-month, no lock-ins, no minimums.
How do I control which creators come in?+−
You approve every one. Only vetted creators can apply, and you choose the ones that fit your venue, your guests, and your standard. You set the budget, the deliverables, and the pacing.
Will this disrupt my floor team?+−
No. There's nothing for your front-of-house team to do. The creator dines and pays like a regular customer, so the experience on your floor stays exactly as it is.
What content do I receive, and how fast?+−
The deliverables you set in the brief (stories, reels, posts, or a mix), delivered typically within 24 hours, no later than 48, and uploaded to your dashboard and to social media (if requested as part of your campaign).
What if I don't get my content, or I'm not happy with it?+−
Marlo underwrites every campaign. If you don't receive your content, or it doesn't meet the standard you approved, Marlo makes good on the campaign fee. The risk sits with us, not you. That's the point of the network.
Do I own the content that creators produce?+−
You receive a licence to use the content for your venue. The specific scope is set out in the Venue Services Agreement.
What does my dashboard show?+−
Your dashboard is a full control centre for Marlo. You manage campaigns, review and approve creator applications, access your content library, and track analytics for both past and current campaigns.
What data do I get access to?+−
You can see exactly how much you've actually spent, a comparison to EMV (earned media value) and what it would have cost you, plus engagement and impression data, so you know exactly what Marlo is returning for you.
How are creators vetted before they reach me?+−
Each is reviewed for quality, engagement, and brand alignment before entering the network. We also run rigorous KYC, so we know exactly who each creator is. You then approve per campaign, so nothing reaches your venue without your sign-off.
Is there financial risk to me?+−
To run a campaign on Marlo you simply cover COGS plus a fee on actual transactions, nothing more. You set the venue credit cap per campaign, so your exposure is defined upfront. No surprises. Ever.
What is Marlo Members Club?+−
A paid members network that dines at premium partner venues. Members carry a Marlo card, receive a per-booking welcome discount at featured venues, and are invited to private Marlo Moments — venue-programmed dinners in idle private rooms, filled seat by seat.
How is this different from a supper club or stranger-matching app?+−
Marlo is premium-venue-first and on-rails. You program the event, menu, and rate. Members book with a plus-one — their person, not random tablemates. There is no home-host or dating-adjacent matching layer.
What are Marlo Moments?+−
One-off private dinners in your idle private dining room. You set capacity and optional per-seat pricing; members fill the room through the app, typically two covers per member (member + plus-one). Access is included in their annual membership unless you set an additional seat price.
Do I need a creator subscription to join Members Club?+−
No. Featured listing in the members app is a separate entry tier from the creator engine. You can opt into member footfall without running influencer campaigns.
